Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) is the sole registered industry association in Rajasthan representing reputed tour operators with proven track records of excellent service to tourists and having well-set establishments in Rajasthan. Each of our member needs to have experienced staff, having specialised in handling tours around Rajasthan for at least 10 years, to be eligible for membership of our association. Each of them has full-fledged offices in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan is a complicated destination requiring advanced planning and preparation for a truly rewarding experience. To tourists visiting Rajasthan and travel agents & tour operators promoting Rajasthan, RATO Members provide in depth advice and a comprehensive range of services, such as:

Planning itinerary and programme

Selecting and reserving hotels

Making reservations for air & rail travel

Providing well-maintained cars, vans and buses with safe and experienced drivers

Planning and handling special events (e.g. weddings, film shoots, incentive groups,  safaris, adventure trips, conferences & conventions and many more)

Our members have a widespread network covering all major tourist destinations in Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota, Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore) and more.

RATO encourages our members, tourists visiting Rajasthan and travel professionals promoting Rajasthan to follow the RATO Responsible Tourism Code.

RATO is actively pursuing Pro-Poor Tourism alternatives, which we hope to launch in the future.
